Foxman Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Hey folks,If anyone has any knowledge on the current value of the Triumphs "Workin/Memories" 45 on Okeh that'd be great if you can give me some idea (looking to buy). Had a look on the usual places (popsike, collectors frenzy) and while it doesn't appear to be too expensive it's hard to get a clear figure in terms of current value.Any help much appreciated.CheersAdam(PS - still after a copy of Peppermint Harris "Wait Until it Happens to You" so if anyone's got a decent lead on that, or got one to sell for a good price please send me a message.)
Chris L Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 You should get one for about £60 - 70, try and get the one with pic sleeve.
Bo Diddley Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 One has appeared on the JM Auction!https://www.raresoulman.co.uk/auction/10385/workin-memoriesMay have some effect on the current demand/price.
Foxman Posted October 12, 2015 Author Posted October 12, 2015 Yeah saw that earlier today. Could be a cause for concern if that goes out of control.

Not such a desirable as "Coming to your rescue", does it get played anywhere ?

With the JM auction throwing it in to the mainstream can we now expect to see his listing sell for something more in the region of £200+ ???

Foxman Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 Turns out it went for £210. Madness.Fortunately able to pick up a copy for way way less than that.

Andrea Ko Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I bought it for 40£. I prefer the "Memories" side
Pete S Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I bought it for 40£. I prefer the "Memories" sideThat's about the right price. It was a very late Torch sound that didn't quite take off. Bootlegged on Out Of The Past. 1
Mace Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I obviously thought £75 was a much fairer price for a copy with a pic sleeve..... as did Mr. Foxman https://rhythm-and-soul45s.com/ourshop/prod_4049681-Triumphs-Workin-Okeh-promo-rare-pic-sleeve-Ex.html 1
Chris L Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Today's trivia, the group actually record a 3rd single, never released but does have a catalogue number.
