Pete S Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Over a decade ago, Motown let everyone hear some of the hundreds of unissued tracks that they had stored in their vaults. Some were instant classics, others took a while to grow - but I believe the problem was that they released too much material in such a short space of time, consequently many great tracks went more or less unnoticed. I've done three volumes of these tracks and I can promise you, these are amongst the best mixcasts I've ever done. I added a sprinkling of well known tracks but in the main, most tracks here and on the next two volumes were not released at the time. Some, such as the title track, are so good they are hard to describe! I love these compilations, I hope you will too. (I'll add the other volumes during the next week) The Contours - Do The See-Saw (version 2) Kim Weston - You Hit Me Where It Hurt MeFour Tops - Gotta Say It, Gonna Tell It Like It IsFour Tops - Helpless Stevie Wonder - Nothing's Too Good For My BabyChris Clark – Something’s Wrong Marvin Gaye - The Touch Of VenusThe Underdogs - Just Walk In My ShoesThe Dalton Boys - I've Been CheatedMarvin Gaye - Love Starved Heart Of Mine Martha & The Vandellas - One Way OutFour Tops - Since You've Been GoneFrank Wilson - Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)Stevie Wonder - I Hear a Symphony The Spinners - Head Over Heels In Love With You BabyFour Tops - Something About YouThe Marvelettes - I'll Keep Holding OnBrenda Holloway - I Don't Want Anybody Perfect Four Tops - Shake Me, Wake Me (When It's Over) Four Tops - You're What's Happening BabyIsley Brothers - My Love Is Your Love [Forever]Barbara McNair - Baby A Go-GoLittle Stevie Wonder - Contract On LoveThe Vows - My Baby Changes Like the WeatherThe Vows - Tell MeReuben Howell - You Can't Stop A Man In LoveThe Velvelettes - These Things Will Keep Me Loving YouBrenda Holloway - Lonely BoyThe Marvelettes - Finders Keepers Losers Labrenda Ben - Do You Know What I'm Talkin' AboutMarvin Gaye - Sunny Marvin Gaye – Lucky Lucky MeBrenda Holloway - All Your LoveRobert Dobyne - All I Need Is a ChanceJohnny Bristol - A Woman's LoveFunk Brothers - Theres A Ghost In My HouseTammi Terrell - All I Do Is Think About YouBrenda Holloway - Why Don't You Tell The Truth Four Tops - Tea House In China TownCarolyn Crawford - Forget About MeFour Tops - Ask The LonelyFour Tops - Is There Anything That I Can DoMartha & The Vandellas - No More Tearstained Make Up https://www.mixcloud.com/mayfairmenthol/no-more-tearstained-make-up-motor-city-dancers-rarities/?fb_action_ids=10153746921836929&fb_action_types=mixcloud%3Aupload 1
