I have no idea Richard .

Don't have the record actually, though i'm thinking of buying it, which would be worth it if i can get that removed.

The seller isn't 100% certain that it is indeed glue - but it probably is.

You can successfully clean records with wood glue - I wonder if that might bring out the existing glue on your record?

Cheers

Richard

suppose it depends what glue is on it....wood glue could probably be taken off with soapy water or the wood glue method would pull it out, as suggested by Rich......if it's more sinister super glue, evo stick type stuff your gonna need something a lot stronger to take it off...an acetone type stuff perhaps?....could be detrimental to your vinyl though....good luck and if successful, will be interested to know the result......kind regards.....Rob

It's now sold Rob, so i won't be able to try anything. Seems like it always has to be issues with the side i'm after.

Would like a one which is cheap because the side i'm not into is damaged :)

If it's a styrene record, there's the chance that anything too strong would melt the record too...

Possibly the worst condition record I ever found was a UK rocksteady single on Crab, it looked in nice shape until I flipped it over to see the Bert Kaempfert flexi disc someone had glued onto it. A lot of lighter fluid eventually got most of it out the grooves, but anything was going to be better than the flexi disc!
