Hi Martin

Yes mate its a white label demo - Wounded women on both sides !

Seen it listed on Manships but no value, personally I think its a great record and it deserves to get played at venues , what do you think !

Thought Wounded woman was £15-£20 max for the same sided demo

and for the issue with the b-side it was £80-£100

Very underated record IMO

Me to Buddy I think its a brilliant record that needs to get played !

Heard it first at Soul in the Sun - Tenerife a few years back and since then I've loved it !

Put the question on here re: value because you never see it for sale !

Regards

Used to see loads about for £10-£15 on Truth 45 (10 or so years ago).. but you're right... probably not the rarest thing on the planet, just that they're all sat in collections!

A Great 45.... but the LP is even better value.

Shirley Brown "Woman To Woman"

Millie Jackson "Caught Up" "Still Caught Up"

Denise LaSalle "Trapped By A Thing Called Love"

Yes Ray,

The LP is called "Wounded Woman" and yes, Steve's claim to fame is that he knows me personally and has even DJ'd on the same bill as me a number of times.

:(

Joking apart, he's a top lad the Mannion and one of only a handful of people that I've allowed into my Basement.... What he wont have told you is that I plucked him out of the obscurity of a Sheffield pub, in a drunken stupor, and re-introduced him to Soul Music.

He's never been the same since.
