Guest GS160 Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Hi, Could anyone tell me where the South West International Soul Club was based? or anything about the club...I have a badge, (looks 1970's) from there, but can't find any further info...Thanks
Supercorsa Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Just guessing, but it may have been based in the South -West. In all seriousness, I think there's an old topic on this somewhere.
Markw Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Way before my time, but guessing this was 'Kojak' who was also behind the Inter-City Soul Club stuff in the mid-70s as well. Probably way off the mark!!
Paul R Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Chris Burton Who ran the International Soul Club promoting events, after the Torch closed, just produced a load of different badges. Lancashire, Yorkshire etc. There was probably a South West one. Perhaps this is what you mean. There wasn't a club just a badge. Paul

Paul Badge is the clenched fist with South West International Soul Club text above it. I just assumed it was a regular club. Thanks for the info
