went to school and was in the same year in Stretford with Rob [ and Phil Saxe / Mo Wright ] , this is very sad .

first person to ever play Leon Hayward  ' baby reconsider ' to me - absolutely blew me away and probably one of the moments that set me on this track going forward.

every condolences and commiserations to family and friends

Very sad news indeed.

Met up with Rob for the first time after the Wheel days when Ian Levine was filming SWONS. It was the time that the 4 Vandals record was in the headlines. We put it about that Rob was lead singer with me Kegsy, Andy Simpson and Mrs B ( then known as Vandella to fit in with the recording) were the backing singers - interestingly, quite a few people believed us!

RIP Rob, you did more for the scene than many people realise. Remember the story of Dave Godin and the Sandi Sheldon 45 - I do!

RIP - sorry we can't be at the funeral.
