August 25, 20159 yr Silver Connection are about as "disco" as you can get..... And not particularly good disco at that. I have the album somewhere, which I won at a holiday camp years ago....

August 27, 20159 yr Not soul, I've got a sneaking affection for them.If nothing else, I owe thanks for apparently inspiring the unlikely but brilliant Jamaican LP 'Gold Connection' (see what they did there?) featuring strictly for rockers versions of a number of their hits and other Disco records of the time (heavyweight version of 'I love music'music' is killer!)This is one of those records that I have to occasionally get up in the middle of the night to check it really does exist..
