I'm really not allowed to say..but it isn't Dolly Parton or Kelly Marie ( Gavin you naughty man ! ) Because I'm told this record is about to be heavily championed by one of the Modern Soul jocks (allegedly) in the North West and he wants to keep it covered up .Allegedly. Or so I'm told. Allegedly.

But it's far too good for you lot with your horrible old shouty screamy Rock and Roll records.

It's cack.

Disco Dross of the highest (or should that be lowest) order.

Glad you said it Joe, my fingers were burning with anticipation of typing that out

Mark wasn't me, it was Simon who knew. But I think so from what he has said - Tee Hee

Think I took about 200 of these to Carolinas in the '90's that I got out of that wholesale place in Telford.

What is it with these pop beach titles like this and Futures,Lou Rawls, "Integrity" that appeal to some sections of the Northern scene. It's handbag music.

Funny old world innit... I would never have desribed 'Integrity' as handabag music..it's Aretha Franklin for gods sake man !!!

Thanks for the info Simon, I have had this on my system for ages now, saved in my music and just having a clear up today, I have no idea where it came from just that I have it on MP3, personally I do rather like it, much better than that dross Nicole Willis :lol::thumbsup:

my lips are sealed now :shhh:

Simon, never said she couldn't sing. Just that 70's beach sound is so poppy. Actually her delivery does elevate it a bit above the usual smooth saccharine blandness of the genre, but not much.

ROD

Oh I agree entiely..most beach stuff isn't to my taste at all..but 'Integrity' is great. Its just a shame it was too easily obtainable a record so it got killed off quickly in Northern Soulworld. I remember exacty where I was when i first heard it. I didnt know the track but recognised the voice. I got goosebumps.
