There is an obvious difference, between Derek's "Record Porn"......and Johnny's "Record Pillage".......

Love the "Saxon like" neatness and selectivity, compared to the "Viking like" aggression  ......But seriously worry about the financial implications either way..... Me'Lud:g:

Ever wondered if you spend too much time looking for records?

Well if you can close this page without even a glance at the photos then it's time to think about a new hobby.

Go on you know you want to.

The lure of curiosity is so very, very strong for people like us.

I'll just have a quick look through.

If I don't find owt after half an hour I'll stop.

Etc

Etc

A test of ones mettle has to be the tale of those old Levine 45's that were covered in dog shit in a barn somewhere!!  Think it was a story recounted by Guy somewhere or other..........

Kinda like "how addicted are you?......."  LOL

Cheers,

Mark  - That was Bernie Golding' s barn in deepest Lancashire.  He had purchased over 40,000 titles from Ian Levine.  Before they were plumaged and raided a lot of quality titles never since seen came from those. Unfortunately towards the end they were cast across the floor with peeps treading on them and generally not respecting the lot....
