Greety Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Hi .Just found a spare Sunday on Alteen. Ex to mint -.£45 inc rec post if you want it.Best wishesDave
Trevor Bridge Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 (edited) That's a very good price in my opinion. Al-teen is the rarer 1st label. Edited July 19, 2015 by Trevor Bridge
Henry Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Actually the Chess (2nd) release is the rarer of the 2 releases.Good luck!
B-naked Posted July 20, 2015 Author Posted July 20, 2015 sunday sorted !!!!!! thanks still looking for the chee chee scott 45
Trevor Bridge Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Moot point Henry. John Manship lists both Alteen 3001 and Alteen 9631 releases at £100 and the Chess issue at £85. The Chess demo is listed at £125. That's all I have to go on, but of course you may have different sources of info.Cheers
Henry Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 There's very little difference in the Alteen releases in rarity that I have ever noticed. I value both at £50, with the Chess release being a good bit rarer. The Chess issue I value at £60 and the demo at £75. The Chess demo isn't that much rarer than the issue! But if it's in a book it must be true!!!
Trevor Bridge Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Didn't realise it was you Mr Atkinson. I'll bow to your superior knowledge of course, although if I were to sell mine I'd go with John's valuation!!!Cheers
Henry Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Don't know about superior, just from my own experience. Not forced to be perfectly accurate.I think you'll do well to get Johns prices!
