Bearsy Nah, I dont think so. He DJ's at South in Manchester, which is an club playing indie - madchester stuff. On the posters/flyers they list the type of music that they play. Northern is 2nd on the list. I went down and all I heard was the snake.

(Kane not Greg) If he is supposed to like Northern Soul it is news to me. He always mentions some good obscure indie music in interviews, but never once heard hin mention soul. I liked the way you drifted in and out of the topic though Mikey it keeps things light hearted with a twist of humour for a change

Also ran the Sensible Soul nites with Craig Brick and Paul Guntrip. Sean also did the here-and-there spot at the 100 Club between 1984 - 1988. Decent bloke to chat to.

Some good people around then, Brad, The Tod Crew, Keith Ridge, the formidable and large Burnley crew, and occasionally a large Blackpool and Yorkshire mob, not forgetting Fuse, Judy, Toofy and the rest.

Bearsy Remember reading in one of my magazines many moons ago, that he was into NS....He gave some of his favourite song's and one of his top 5 songs is The Snake by Al Wilson.
