Mickey Moonshine - who is he?

Hi GuyS

A corny name Mickey Moonshine  but "name it, claim it" is a Fantastic 45!  Fantastic voice! in my collection for years but who is the guy? pretty sure he is white [even tho he sounds black] as it is on a CD called "Blue eyed soul" from yonks ago.

Any info would be great, thanks and good times. KC
