Guest Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 well, I'm just worried these sort of garments could lead to a surge of associated tunage invading playlists - we're talking Axel F (in modern rooms) and Eye of the Tiger (obviously one for the R&B room) ........ god help us all..... ok, I may be a bit thick here, but why is this a Northern Soul Jacket? How many on here wear these? lol Cheers Paddy

Pete S Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Well would you want to go out to a night where everyone was allegedly wearing these sort of clothes? They probably just avoid people who use the phrase "dig the scene" 40 years too late

Guest soul_hull Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 this is a soul jacket..... or maybe this.... or even this.... you could even argue this was.... but that thing in the original post.........................isn't
Little-stevie Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Hoodies into Soul..This can't be right ..They would never get through the door at an event would they???? don't want that kind of crowd upsetting all the middle aged crazy fuc"ers who never sleep or no when to go home...There would be blood and talc on the dancefloor...
Guest Andy BB Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Have to admit it does look a bit like the kind of thing Steve Adams spends £700 on! Give the seller a break though, he is in Stockport. What he needs to do is pick up the M60 at Jct 1, head up to Junction 12 and onto the M62, carry on straight past the big roundabout by Knowsley Safari Park, once he can no longer smell elephant dung he should pull over and stick his head out of the window and he'll see someone dressed proper like.
Little-stevie Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 No need to go that far Andy...Plenty local ones here as well....I know your lot invented it but its rather big all over these days..
Pete S Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 this is a soul jacket..... or maybe this.... or even this.... you could even argue this was.... but that thing in the original post.........................isn't That Loma one looks well cool.
Guest MARTIN SNOW Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 That Loma one looks well cool. I went to Monumental Soul recently and looking at the waist line on that ebay jacket I doubt anyone (other than me) at that gig would have fitted it, even most of the women come to think of it !
Guest Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 That Loma one looks well cool. Not as cool as the Soulgirl one
Paul R Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 That Loma one looks well cool. I'm not sure about the Fisting Hoodie one though? Paul
