lisahurley Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 (edited) The new Christina Aguilera single "Ain't no other man" has a sample in it that I recognise and is driving me mad. The brass "stabs" throughout the chorus and in the break are from a 60s club soul record that used to get frequent plays down at Happiness Stans. Anyone know more? https://www.christinaaguilera.com/ Edited September 4, 2006 by lisahurley

The talc room featured DJs Danny deCourtelle, that girl Lynn, Tim Boogaloo, Irish Paul, it was run by Percy who now heads fashion label PPQ
timthemod Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 It's called Hippy Skippy Moon Strut by The Moon People, there's also a vocal version apparently. Big once on the Funk scene. Sample here: https://www.juno.co.uk/search.php?q=moon+pe...&column=all

Just had a listen to Moon People and I'm sure you're right. The Luis Aviles is extremely similar though.
