In the sleeve notes to the new Goldmine cd Rare As Hens Teeth (which has a photo of Love Is A Good Foundation on the front, which is about as rare as false teeth), Tim Brown says of Jimmy Delphs' Dancing A Hole In The World "it is still known from less than half a dozen copies in this country".

That's because the rest were stopped at customs and not allowed into the country on account of it being utter utter crap.

I bet you wish you had paid £120 for it and now still had it to sell

Hmm, if I'd had a choice at the time between that and Cecil Washington or Paris...not a difficult choice is it. Wouldn't have bought it back then, wouldn't buy it in a million years now. There are some truly bad records about but that is beyond 'badness'. And at £120, you wuz robbed cos thats 2 million quid in todays money

So which is worse Pete... George Hobson or Jimmy Delphs/Esquires?

Feel in need of cheering up today... any chance of your top five worse soul records ever made?

I just know it would bring a much needed smile to my face.

I'm happy to undertake this task Joan but first I have to add on sound samples to the stuff I put on ebay this morning, but I'll have a go afterwards, more likely to be a top 20 though..
