Steve S 60 Posted May 11, 2015 Author Posted May 11, 2015 Steve, I listened to it live through pure luck while surfing channels and it was a very interesting programme, . Keith I'd been listening to Richard Searling's show and just kept it on for the Soul Discovery show. Melvin sounds like a nice guy.
Rudzy Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Great show and interview. Was listening live after Richard Searling - good afternoons entertainment on SOLAR. Even better than the Footie
Keith Money Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I met him in Prestatyn a couple of years ago and he was a really nice guy and very humble about his fabulous talent, For me he also stole the entire show. 1
John Benson Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Wasn't this also broadcast a while back? I listened to it last night, but it sounded familiar - as though I'd already heard it. I know some of Mick's shows are repeats, so it is possible.
Biggordy Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 <<<<< see my profile photo Taken at Birdwell Venue, Barnsley, a couple of years ago. Me, Melvin and his son Bryan. Still has an amazing voice in his early 70s and his son is a talented musician too, albeit in a heavy rock band.

Melvin Davis the consummate professional, check out his new cd album on CD Baby. Dave Edited May 11, 2015 by Louise 1
