soulfulsaint Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Read in a Billboard that in 1972 her album was on heavy rotation on only one radio station in USA - WHUR Washington DC. Back then it was the student radio station of Howard University, where Donald Byrd was professor of jazz studies. But for only one station to play her across the whole of the USA is a scandal. 1
Popular Post Ady Croasdell Posted September 25, 2015 Popular Post Posted September 25, 2015 On a positive note, Chalky's contacts have led to Ace getting in touch with Alice's estate and paying her royalties that had accrued (and will continue to do so) from You Hit Me and Heaven's Will which were GWP productions we bought. We're reviving Heaven's Will on the October Kent CD release "Lost Without You; Best Of Kent Ballads Vol 2" 4
