Keep seeing reference to Niters/Northern being on the wain in the 80t's. I don't remember it like that. most weekends used to go 2 niters, with a dayer often thrown in for good measure. :rolleyes:

I am sure this has been discussed before, but not seen these threads. :shades:

Sorry for any repetition, just like to hear what others think.

there was always loads of stuff going on inthe eighties,rather on the wane ,i would have the scene wason the up ,loads of new venues,new dj/s and loads of good sounds :unsure:

I agree, things were definately on the up in the 80's. In fact I'd go further and say the scene was far BETTER in the 80's - more imaginative djs playing more soul and less pop, more regular nights better attended and by a better dressed crowd!
