BOB & FRED: I’ll Be On My Way – BIG MACK VG+ £1200

 

Sporadic pops and clicks but the music still comes through loud and clear – A ‘play’ copy rather than a ‘display’ copy, but a very nice one nonetheless.

 

The silver print on the label has sustained lots of fine scratches and wear marks, which only show up when you hold the record at certain angles – unfortunately, face-on to my scanner is not one of them, so I need to point this out.

MOMENTS: Baby I Want You – HOG  VG+ £1600

 

Very solid player, a monster sound and a phenomenal rarity.  Originally known to the scene as The Fabulous Impacts via an uncredited Edgewood acetate, but eventually turned out to be this after a vinyl copy showed up several years later; still shockingly rare after 30 (count ‘em!) years!

 

Ballad flip has not been so fortunate over the years and is VG- with crackles and some wear spots on the label.

Really nice copy, looks like it’s hardly ever been used. Light dust ring on the label.

 

 

 

TJ WILLIAMS – Baby I Need You – JOSIE EX £325

 

Double-sided promo with same track both sides.  If you look really hard you can see an absolutely minute chip in the rim about 3mm long and 1mm deep in one side, otherwise this is copy is pretty much spotless.  Fabulous record and currently much in demand.
