Cheers Andy,

For me the music from the very start, yourself and Dale and until the end was bang on. Hopefully the other dj's may put up their playlist just to reflect my comments.

We will not be able to make it to Harrogate, as it clashes with our night in Newcastle.

Good luck.

Nor Denise and I unfortunally as will be still on our travels . Back for Whitby Weekender tho - both Dekka and I will be spinning some tunes there. Edited by andybellwood

I Never left the room all day, only to visit the boys room, as for me really enjoyed the variety of music played.

Well done to Dekka for the selection of Dj's for the day.

Hi Brian

It was really encouraging to see so many people enjoying what the room had to offer, lots of people migrating through all the rooms but from my point of view to see people stop in the Roots room buy a drink and enjoy and dance to the music made everything worthwhile. Lee Miller commented that he hardly knew anyone in the room which proves it wasn't just hard core RnB/Mod types that were there. My thoughts were that at least it educates people in a good way and hopefully will encourage them to return to where ever the Roots Room is next situated be it at Headingley or Harrogate.

Although the Roots Room has a main RnB/Mod, 6t's Soul theme this in no way limits the variety of music to which can be played, as the playlists testify.

The next Roots Room at Harrogate May 30th will be an RnB extravaganza with what is dubbed as a North east showcase organised entirely by Steve Hiscock, which obviously includes yourself, Steve, Hoss, Dikka, Deka, and myself dekka, bit of a tongue twister LOL.

Once again many thanks to all the DJ's at Headingley and just so everyone knows WE WILL BE INVITED BACK (dates to be arranged)
