Popular Post El Corol Posted May 1, 2015 Popular Post Posted May 1, 2015 I know celebrity lookalikes are popular but I've never heard of Des Penza! Sorry I'll get me coat 4
Petedillon Posted May 1, 2015 Author Posted May 1, 2015 Haha very good ! Ok is the there a lookalike of the original Ivorys release? Think I've read about one but a while back?
Guest Mrs M Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 There are a couple of releases, both on Despenza but different type set. You also have the ultra hard copy on Wand too. My copy was the 'bold text' where as the other issue is in italic.. (if my memory serves me)
Guest Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 There's 2 bold text releases But definitely no Despenza bootlegs!
Julianb Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Thought I saw a 'carver' with lookalike labels a couple of weeks ago on evilbay?
Guest Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Thought I saw a 'carver' with lookalike labels a couple of weeks ago on evilbay? Yes but a more or less one-off home made in someones kitchenette and not a multi run off bootlegging like some on the bay.
Guest Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 (edited) Another good record that is not very rare, just a lot of people wanting it, making it go for silly money! It used to be known and go for a £5 on sales lists, even in the early/mid 80's! There must be plenty in collections! Edited May 4, 2015 by Guest
Guest turntableterra Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 There's 2 bold text releases also two different release numbers on the despenza with 476 the first I think being the rarer of the two , a 12000 number so pros 4 variations, 3 at least
Guest Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Just buy a Wand copy, no worries then. There is a Wand wand-a-bee!
