anyone catch this dribble last night?

of all the soul artists who PROBABLY DONT NEED THE MONEY, Smokey Robinson + Gladys Knight both agreed to sing with dim as hell american television celebrities on Fox's new reality tv show. It was a really sad sight seeing Track of My Tears being butchered by Hal Sparks (who is this guy anyway?). You could see Smokey struggling to get through it. very sad.

Why do these artists agree to do these silly things?

also, the show is judged by a very aged, and somewhat senile Little Richard.
