Labeat Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Sweeter than the day before... Chess issue, eBay auction ended 19th of this month.... £144 Same record, Facebook today 28th.... £250 We don't seem to sing from the same songsheet these days, it's as if £100 or so is neither here nor there on records.... and pretty average ones at that! 2
Kjw Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 It partly depends on the condition of the record but mainly where people look for the records they want to buy In the past couple of weeks I've seen records sell on Ebay for high prices while I have some of them sat on Discogs at a lower price and better condition 2
Winsford Soul Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I personally think £100 to £150 is a good price for a chess issue. Classic oldies are holding their prices regardless of condition. Steve 1

Andyg Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Yeah it is Kev Andy Dyson is playing it at the moment
Chalky Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 It has been fetching upwards £200 and in the odd case more but for a VG copy non way. I would say £175 is is a fair price for a decent copy but if someone daft enough to pay £250 for a VG copy then it is up to them.....but it sets a marker other sales will follow. 2
Labeat Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 Is the flip getting plays.? Nice 1 Kev, that bumps it up to £300.... seeing as the A side was "only" 250 1

Pete S Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Sold on in December for £125. Would have asked £150 but had a small label tear. I think this is one of the best Nortern dancers ever made, personally. If anyone has a boot of it they want to sell me I'll give them £20 for it. 2
JOE TORQUAY Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Valentinos boots have been going for £50 and up lately pete, even the plain old white label ones.
Pete S Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Valentinos boots have been going for £50 and up lately pete, even the plain old white label ones. The day I pay £50 for a bootleg will never come Joe but thanks for the info. Especially as I had 20 or 25 of these when they were pressed! 2
