Guest Noggin Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Soul Rebels. TBL126 UK Upsetter. Soul Revolution. LP-507 Maroon. both NM vinyl. EX covers. many thanks.
Soul-slider Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 (edited) Re- Soul Rebels - If it's the orange/white UK Upsetter label it's a tough one as some had UK sleeves and JA vinyl (mine for starters!). Soul Revolution is a tougher one to find on original and would exceed £50 I'd say. Edited April 6, 2015 by Soul-Slider
Soul-slider Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Both listed at £100/125 in the latest RC guide.
Pete S Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Both listed at £100/125 in the latest RC guide. Thats just ridiculous though. The LP market has just crashed last couple of years - I've still got copies of Scotty School Days, reggae Hits 69, Here Comes The Duke, Herbsman reggae etc, and I mean pristine ones, can't sell them at half the price I used to be able to get. 1
soulster22 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 hi Pete, is there any price guide dedicated to ska/ rocksteady - Boss Reggae that is available as prices seem to be all over the place? regards H

Never known it so unstable, for instance, I bid on 12 records over the weekend, I won 3, I lost 9, but the three I won were the ones I expected to lose and vice versa. Also you have to take into account how much someone wants something, I bid on a record week before last and I bid £100 over what I actually think it's worth just to make sure I got it - and I lost! soulster22 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) know exactly what you mean Pete, won Lloyd charmers/ hippy boys - stronger - Randys for £22.00 but missed out on Crystalites - Sic him Rover - Songbird as I set my snipe too low. the problem I have is not sure exactly what the values are on these and don't want to chase the trends so to speak so guess that I will have to be patient. see below an up to date wants list should you come across any of them. Pete S Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Think I have seven of those above mate but things like Hold Down and Ram You Hard, they are expensive (I have both)
soulster22 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Just sniping hold down at the moment but where do I need to be on Ram You Hard and whatever else you have. see list above where I have deleted items that I have since sourced. regards H
Pete S Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I have a mint Hold Down but I'd want £200 for it, Ram You Hard, took me until last month to get a copy! So I'd probably want a ton for that. Hold Down is way more common than The Bleechers though.
Pete S Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) Anyway you should come up and haggle with those other things you mentioned LOL Edited April 7, 2015 by Pete S
Soul-slider Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Isn't 'Ram You Hard' by the strangely named 'John Lennon'?
Pete S Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Isn't 'Ram You Hard' by the strangely named 'John Lennon'? It is, for no reason whatsoever!
