Simon T Posted November 10, 2004 Author Posted November 10, 2004 I won't don't worry link It looks like it's gonna cost me more for the paper to print out my wants list, than my collection is worth!
Guest micksmith Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Martha Starr Sweet Temptaion on Charay link SOLD ONE TO BUTCH SOME YEARS AGO FOR £500. NOT MANY PEOPLE NEW IT THEN.
Pete S Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Isn't it on a real budget LP on one of UK Ace's labels or am I thinking of something else?
Guest Stuart T Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 The Cressa Watson is, I think, on the one with the yellow cover that has And The Rains Came on it. Sought After Soul? maybe its another track by her?
Pete S Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Think it's called 20 rare soul classics or something - Arcade label??
Chalky Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Isn't it on a real budget LP on one of UK Ace's labels or am I thinking of something else? link It's an LP ful of Charay stuff isn't it? Not sure of the label but it is cheap, or was. Anyone got a soundfile of the Cressa Watson to compare...mine sound s very much like Martha. Know Ady Croasdell been playing the Martha version for a few years. Kenny Burell playing the Ward Burton one.
