What Is This? 'every Step I Take/ I'm Getting Closer To You'

Hi everyone, just getting started here.. I hope this is the right forum to post this. 

 

I have this untagged MP3 file of a track I *really* dig and I've turned Google and Youtube around searching, with no luck. Hopefully you guys will know what it is? 

 

Uptempo track that starts with a funky guitar and then some high-pitched strings. Male singer. First few lines are 'Every step I take/ I'm getting closer to you/ And every move I make girl/ I'm getting nearer to you/ (chorus) I need love, baby/ Yes I do, oooo...' 

 

Help, please? It's killing me it's SO GOOD.
