Roburt Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 (edited) A Detroit newspaper article about 'lesser known' (to your general US listener) Motown songs ...... https://www.freep.com/story/entertainment/music/2014/10/23/motown-playlist/17705513/ Don't think any of them will be unknown to UK based Motown fans. Guest Waggy Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 (edited) Great post, thanks. Yes mostly bread n butter to UK soul fans. Re: Originals - Suspicion It's unclear why Motown didn't release this Holland-Dozier-Holland-written masterpiece, as it just screams hit and the production is top-shelf. Perhaps it didn't fit enough with the rest of the group's catalog ........wouldn't it be great to get a definitive answer as to the real reason this never got a release? Re: Originals - Suspicion ........wouldn't it be great to get a definitive answer as to the real reason this never got a release? It didn't occur to them to pitch it up maybe? Still sounds not as good to me when played at the correct speed compared to how we all first heard it!
