Is that an expensive/rare tune, not seen or heard it anywhere in 35 years. I've either imagined it or should get out more.

I didn't hear this until late 2000's I think, I got one easy enough, but haven't had another since so I think it might be £100 or so

If you're using the ebay.co.uk site then that's probably why. Lots of records on ebay.com are not showing up on the "regional" sites (.uk .ca etc.). You have to pay extra for listings to show up on the non-US sites.
