Guest accystanred Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Does anyone know of a good software package to enable me to catalogue my vinyl collection.
Benji Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I tried plenty over the last 20 years. Ended up with Excel. Pretty powerful tool if you know how to use it...
Kegsy Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 (edited) You can use discogs, the good bit is that many will already be listed so you wont have to type them all out. You just add them to "your" collection. They don't go up for sale unless you actually want them to. Edited March 3, 2015 by Kegsy

Probably don't use a fraction of its functions, but I use spread sheets for work on a daily basis. Used Excel to log all the tracks in the Complete Motown Singles series, complete with album covers. Just copied all the info straight across from my iTunes, one sheet for each volume.
mshoals Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 You can also use https://www.45cat.com/ to add to "your collection" (with the "I own" button) and download the collection in csv format (which you can then view in Excel). 1
