NEV Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) Spotted the copy on John Manship auction and it dawned on me that I haven't seen one or heard it played for a long time, but oddly did a search and found one on ebay, that ended a few nights back for over $1200... In G cond! https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/381158710388?_mwBanner=1&rmvSB=true Edited February 25, 2015 by NEV
Garethx Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 It's a rare and great record. If anything his other 45 on the label is even better and more in-demand for both funk and ballad fans. It always amazes me that a singer with this amount of talent only managed to release a small handful of records.
DtheD Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 It always makes me laugh that the title is so obviously ' Sad Autumn night' and imagine some confused conversation down a crackly line to the pressing plant.....'it's called WHAT?...' ' sorry say that again, sad ..what..night?'....etc etc 2
