Ebay Seller - Not Too Sure - What Do You Think?

I've won a record off this guy. Someone else emailed me to say he'd won 3 records the other week (paid for with cash) and another one very recently and the bloke is asking for more cash before he'll post them.

No feedback apart from 7 from the same person (private) - and based in Cherleroi. Should have checked, shouldn't I. What do you lot think?

Charleroi is too close to where the last idiot from Belguim was based. I'd be VERY wary of sending cash to anyone with as low a feedback as this fella has.

I'm sorry if he has been tainted by a fraud in his country, but I wouldnt take the risk even for a 'cheaper' record.

BTW Pete I will defo phone you as soon as I get the chance. its been manic here.

I have a mate who lives about an hour or so from there, I'd rather get him to go down to Charleroi and pick the disc up for me. (Not very interesting fact, Phillipe Albert former toon player has a bar about 200 yards from the train station in Charleroi)

That was just a cheap pressing he bought though, probably to start his feedback looking legit. The stuff he was selling this week were just too good to be true and the one I bought, the scan actually looked like it had been nicked from a scan that I put up myself last time I sold it! His other 7 feedbacks were fake and were duly removed. I think I did the right thing grassing him up and hopefully will have saved people a lot of money...

I have to agree Pete...You have very likely saved people both money & lots of misery...I still buy most of my stuff from Belgium....but even I, now tend to stick with sellers I have used before. It seems like a few wankers over there are just hell bent on ripping folk off...no matter how many times they get caught in the act, and in the process, are ruining it for their fellow country men.
