THE UNLUV’D — AIN’T GONNA DO YOU NO HARM — TRUE LOVE W/DEMO VG++ 25 Same as New Wanderers though not quite as good / rare BOBBY O’BROWN — SEARCHING FOR MY BABY — SINGLE B VG++ SOLD No idea about this one, seen it in knackered condition for $30 and in excellent condition for near $200. THE DELLS — THINKIN’ ABOUT YOU — CADET EX- 50 Simply superb THE FUGITIVES — GOOD LOVIN’ IF YOU CAN GET IT — SANDMAN VG++ 30 Lesser known female vocal — unless it’s an 8 year old boy..some marks on this but plays fine MAJOR LANCE — IT’S THE BEAT — OKEH EX 20 SOLD Dymo sticker on label, plays mint MALCOLM HAYES — PUT YOUR LOVE TO THE TEST / I GOTTA BE WITH YOU — FILMTOWN DJEX 125 SOLD Same as “Emma Rede”, wonderful beat ballad. “Test” is a classic uptempo dancer. Nice copy. YVONNE FAIR — SAY YEAH YEAH — DADE EX 50 Unknown to me — listed in JM as funk — not sure about that but the tune is similar to I Got You THE DAWN — IN LOVE AGAIN — GAMBLE DEMO EX- 15 Pop dancer SAN REMO GOLDEN STRINGS — FESTIVAL TIME — GORDY EX- 15 Mighty Detroit instrumental. Drill hole in label. First “Northern” record I ever got (before I’d heard of Northern) back in 1972. THE SPINNERS — I’LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU — MOTOWN VG++ 10 SOLD Cheapies don’t come much better than this THE VELVELETTES — THESE THINGS WILL KEEP ME LOVING YOU — SOUL EX- 15 Motown classic THE AMBASSADORS — I’M SO PROUD OF MY BABY — ATLANTIC EX 30 These Ambassadors 45’s are brilliant, very underrated THE SUPERIORS — WHAT WOULD I DO — VERVE EX- 30 SOLD All time classic. Looks quite well played but plays mint. CLAIRE — JUST LOVE ME — BRUNSWICK DEMO EX 75 Two great sides on this one, dancer and beat ballad — stamped on the label something like Collector Edition from the library of.. CISSY HOUSTON — I JUST DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF — JANUS EX 25 Great version TONY WILLIAMS — HOW COME — PHILIPS DEMO EX 65 Excellent early 60’s dancer from the leader of The Platters - rare VITO & THE SALUTATIONS — I’D BEST BE GOING — SANDBAG EX 40 Brilliant, still a lesser known oldie but what a great vocal group record BROTHERS GUIDING LIGHT — GETTING TOGETHER — MERCURY EX- 75 Nice issue copy, few paper scuffs and I think I heard one pop otherwise lovely — rarer version minus the ‘featuring David’ credit DIANE CUNNINGHAM — CERTAIN KIND OF LOVER — FONTANA M- 25 Classy dancer. Small sticker on label. THE HERBS — NEVER NEVER (WILL I FALL IN LOVE) — SMOKE EX- 25 Good double sider — b/w “Question” — few cosmetic marks not affecting play KIM WESTON — A THRILL A MOMENT — GORDY EX 60 Really nice copy.
