Dizzy Gillespie - Soul Kiss

Joe Cato - Im so glad

Jimmy Robbins - Repossesing my love

RB Hudman - Yo Yo

Jimmy Robbins is listed as R&B in Manship but I thought it was a 70's record, pink label? RB Hudman was played as was Billy Joe Royals version though I don't think anyone ever played Cilla Blacks' version (LP track)

JIMMY ROBBINS IS ON PINK ALA AND SOUNDS LIKE OF HOPES AND DREAMS ETC REALLY STRONG VOCAL. A BIT R&B BUT MAKES YOU SIT UP A LISTEN, AND POSSIBLY DANCE. YOYO IS A POPPY DANCER.

==========================

Joe Cato was played from around 73 onwards at venues like the Torch,

Va Va,s ect ect..Jimmy Robbins also played from around 73 at the Highland Room

Blackpool also got plays at the Casino played quite a bit in Mr M,s..

Both still cheap to buy and great tunes.........

Regards IAN C

Joe Cato

Love it. I heard it at the 100 Club girlie night earlier this year.

Jimmy Robins has had minor spins on and off for years, It's defo early 70's but maintains the R&B 60's feel rather than moving over to the funk influence.

The Dizzy Gillespe is good and funky, but I always had higher hopes for it. The Buddy Guy has been played at some mod clubs....what label is that RB Hudmon on?

I played the Joe Cato at the 100 club earlier this year. I do love it but it sounds a bit medieval, especially the intro, conjures up pictures of elves and goblins doing a jig
