Tailormade Gaz B Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) Hi all, I paid for a record on discogs which hasn't arrived. Added to that the seller has gone to ground. Perhaps I should have thought twice - only two feedback responses, one of which was negative How do you escalate this through Discogs - I can't see the opinion in the 'help' section. Or is it something that is disputed through Paypal? And if so, why does Discogs take 10% if they actually do nothing re a human presence! Cheers, Gary Edited January 22, 2015 by TailorMade Gaz B
Pete S Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Just contact them via Help Gary, I did it last week and they removed a neutral feedback that had been left for me. They were really good. And they take 8%. 1
Tailormade Gaz B Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 Thanks Pete. 8%...close enough
Kegsy Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Use the Paypal route mate. They will give you your money back no worries.

Cheers, Gary Well, if you have paid via Paypal you should be covered, I would go that route because I'm guessing you won't be buying from him again. Good luck.
Tailormade Gaz B Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 All sorted and thankfully without much stress. He just sent me the cash back - all very odd. Said he couldn't post it, maybe he didn't actually have the record... Cheers!

Sell a record you have "in stock", get the money, use it for a couple of weeks, say you can't find it, then refund when you've been paid. Maybe I just have a suspicious and devious mind. And maybe you'll ALL be trying this now... 3
Guest Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Maybe it's just me, but I find it harder to search for Northern Soul originals on Discogs than Ebay!
