Tailormade Gaz B Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Morning Jules, Three is one on Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/Mighty-Lovers-Aint-Gonna-Run-No-More-She-Keeps-Driving-Me-Out-Of-My-Mind/release/3262783 Fairly cheap given the recent crazy prices sellers have been asking, recently. Cheers! Gary 1

Tailormade Gaz B Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 £750, cheap??? ...'given the recent crazy prices sellers have been asking, recently.' someone wanted a grand for it a few months ago! And it was on Discogs for £999.50 a few weeks ago.
Guest Jules Winnfield Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Seen it but too expensive for a VG. Anyway thanks!!

Guest Jules Winnfield Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 400-450 gbp would be a fair price for a clean copy
Tailormade Gaz B Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I sold mine for way less 3 years ago. Think our mate Maxwell, Adam, has had two copies and sold them for much less too - they seem to have gone through the roof. Get a copy go the New Holidays - Maybe So...but better ;)
Swifty Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Got an Ex copy off S/S a couple of years ago for £40 1
Steve G Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 F*ck. I had it down as a £25er too….when did it become so expensive? Is Butch playing it? 1
Tailormade Gaz B Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 F*ck. I had it down as a £25er too….when did it become so expensive? Is Butch playing it? I sold mine for £200ish But I think thats what its worth. £400 is way too much, but as I said originally, £700 is now deemed cheap. 1
Guest Ivor Jones Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 F*ck. I had it down as a £25er too….when did it become so expensive? Is Butch playing it? Well there you go Steve, just shows you…..Good record but no way is it worth that. I might sell it now for £699.99 Always competitive prices ! Don't think Butch is playing it,[he might be but Ive never heard him play it] but its definitely an in demander all over the place….

Don't think Butch is playing it,[he might be but Ive never heard him play it] but its definitely an in demander all over the place…. Hi Ivor, It was my attempt at humour asking if Butch was playing it, since whenever he plays something the price goes up….look at the B side of "I belong to you" by Milton Wright, essentially a UK record (pressed for the UK market in the 70s), and they're all fighting over any copy that comes up now. Anyway I am glad another £25'er on the shelves is worth considerably more than I thought. Hope u r well.
NEV Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Bloody chancer on discogs ..making money out of people' misery 2

Ingleholme gardens were it will be lovingly cared for give mine away in a collection sell up To anglo American in the 90.s for peanuts Thats the thing Brian. These records were around in quantity, they're not rare. So it beats me how these prices can be sustainable…..fools and their money etc. I guess.

It is a really good group crossover soul record I'd love to have on the shelves again but wouldn't want to part with a weeks wages for it Steve .
Swifty Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 My first one was a Soul Bowl soul pack jobbie , never did really like it
Tommy1 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Maybe a bit tired of it now, but it's been a big hit at Oslo Soul Experience for at least 10 years, works really well with the young crowd. BMaybe it's time to play the other side? 2
Rudzy Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 What a great record that used to be around - the record and art work is spot on, and if you have a VINYL Copy then even better. The ultimate in Northern Soul collecting. Sorry i know this is not helping anybody trying to buy a copy in todays market place.
