Hayden Road Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I thought it was about £30 at most for a minty one ? Theres loads of em around. I've just seen one in sales for £250. Is the demo really worth so much more than an issue?
Tricky Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Just sold one for £50.That is the most it should cost. Used to think it was demo only at one time but issues turn up on the bay. Cliff Steele has been playing it for a several years on and off and others are also picking up on it. Hence record being played price spirals. Tricky 1
Guest Garry Huxley Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 screaming please has had a few sales around £300 recently
Steve Thomas Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 last Couple copys I`ve had demo`s and issue sold em for 50
Chalky Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 I'd have said 70 for issue and 50 for demo but it wouldn't surprise me if either went for a ton given current demand which will only grow. Great record but it ain't rare. 1
Guest Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 I wonder what price it would go for on Mr Manships auction!

Is the demo really worth so much more than an issue? Agree, not rare. But I wouldn't say there are loads around? Where are these loads? When it does come up, it gets snapped up and price rise in recent months reflects the usual old principle of supply and demand.
Mal C Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 I agree, its not mega rare by any stretch, but when I first wanted this years back it took ages to get one, the reason being it got snapped up quick... and was only worth £20 at most.. £250 though.. sorry nah!!

Most who have it wont part with it....I asked in wants section with no response for 2 weeks, only being helped out by the very kind Mr O'connor who let me have his precious copy that he used to play at Allanton.....very nice chap is Jock.
