Dave Moore
Looking for following by Whispers, all on Dore Records Needle in a haystack You got a man on your hands The Dip Must be Mintish condition please. Thanks ROD Hi Rod, You've probably seennit already, but just in case: https://cgi.ebay.com/Northern-Soul-The-Whis...1QQcmdZViewItem Think a couple of The Dip are also knocking around on Ebay. Didn't Shifty have one last week? Might be worth a punt. I saw the Needle In A Haystack last week. Don't see it too often though. I've never actually heard it on this label, is it the same take as the Soul Click copy? Modernsoulsucks
Hi Dave, I did notice it after I put my ad on here. Couldn't find any copies of "The Dip" on Ebay and last couple I've seen were bad condition. Don't really know about Dore and Soul Clock versions. Heard Dore version on CD and liked it. Last day at work tomorrow and then redundant. As long as I get another job soonish I should be able to buy a couple of tunes with the payout. Hope you land something soon. I suspect the Dore version of Needle In A Haystack may well have a sixties "feel" to it and that the Soul Clock version (Which I have somewhere) is slanted a little more "modern. (Argghhh!! There I said it!) I'll keep an eye out for the Dip etc. Regards, Dave www.theresthatbeat.com www.hitsvillesoulclub.com Link to comment Social source share
