Popular Post Realpeoplesmusic Posted January 12, 2015 Popular Post Posted January 12, 2015 All to often when records or nicked and stolen it is highlighted on here...and rightly so! I want to start 2015 with a good news story and by saying a massive thanks to Rob Smith and Sian (trigger) for reuniting me with a record that I misplaced at the last Rugby. When I played the main room at Rugby, I misplaced Carol Anderson behind the decks without realising. Sian informed me that a record in a yellow sleeve had been found and it was a female vocal. As I match the sleeve colour to the label within seconds I knew which record it was. Sian confirmed that was the record and that Rob Smith found it in the back of his playbox. Rob very kindly held onto for me and then hand delivered it to me at the last Lifeline/Pow Wow event. We all know that I might not of been so lucky had it been a different promoter or DJ that found the record, especially as it fetches over 400ukp these days. So a big thanks to Sian for being the top promoter and lovely lady she is and Rob Smith for being so honest and reuniting me with the record. A nice start to 2015! Callum 24

Popular Post Dave Rimmer Posted January 13, 2015 Popular Post Posted January 13, 2015 Just to show how much effort Rob put into returning this 45 to Callum, he originally asked if it was mine because he knows I have one (And funnily enough use yellow sleeves) and he preceeded me on the decks so thought he may have just packed it away with his records. It wasn't mine, but I remembered someone else playing it, so got in touch with Sian, who contacted Callum to confirm it was his. Top, top man Rob. 5
Rugby Soul Club Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Plus he wasn't prepared to post it to Callum as he didn't trust the Xmas post Love it when stuff can be returned, even if you don't know it's missing
