Can anyone throw some light on which of these versions might be the original vinyl?

 

 

 

 
 

Both original releases, different pressing plants.

 

The top one is the styrene press (Monarch?), the second one vinyl from the MGM Bloomfield plant. This factory closed in 1971 and this would have been among the last 45s pressed there.

Thanks, I bought the lower pressing a while ago but had seen the above version for sale and wondered.

There is another variant of the issue, with the title at the top of the label

The bottom one is vinyl. .. the top one styrene... both original presses
