Sunnysoul Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I've always owned Mel Carter "Love Test" on an Airwave 12" but it just occurred to me that I've never seen it on a 7" ??? Was it EVER issued on a 7" ??? And what's the current value please ???
Paul McKay Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Yes it came out on a 7" on 14/06/086. Value around £20- 30 I think.

Guest bertie97 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I've got the 7" of Love Test on Airwave.I remember having to order it as a new release. saw one on ebay a while back.not sure how much though. Hope this helps, Bertie@97
Guest Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I bought one on 7" from Paul Rudzitis in Leicester...sold it again. I met Mel Carter in London once when he came over to do something for Capital Radio because they'd been playing 'Hold Me, Kiss Me, Thrill Me'. His version of 'Tar And Cement' is much nicer.
grant Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Cheers, thanks for the info ! Great record, even if it does sound a bit like an out take from the TV series the Love Boat !!! never heard this but bet it doesn't sound as much like the Loveboat theme as Cody Marshall's 'The Thought Of Loving You' (brilliant record by the way spun by Mr Searling at Wigan)
Tony Turner Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I have a few copies of Mel Carter - Love Test
