paultp Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Another topic revisited as I recieved a record last week where this was use as a stiffener: Wonder where the rest is
Gene-r Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Enough to make a man cry, isn't it? The most bizarre stiffener I received was a sleeveless copy of "Public Image" by PIL on Virgin - wouldn't have minded, but I had my copy of the single since 1978!
Sweeney Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 I received a record from the States inside a 9" pizza box - used, I hasten to add. The record sleeve had been sellotaped to one side and the padding was torn up strips from a farming supplies catalogue (the seller was from rural Ohio).

Good job it wasnt a 12" single or he may have used the bits of pizza he couldnt eat as padding.

Once received three 45s from the west coast in the mid 80s , which were wrapped in a half of a tee shirt which had been cut up for packing around the discs . Malc Burton
