Pete S Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) Very interested to find a price (or buyer) for this one, I know it's missing from most people's Ric Tic collections as they were all thought to be promos at one time, John's last book says 'unconfirmed' but there's one on Popsike from 4 years ago, VG, went for £160 or so...this one is mint. Mick Holdsworth Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) Pete, there was a thread about this record around a year ago, (might have been a reactivated thread referring to the Popsike copy). I think it was assumed to be rare, maybe it was unconfirmed up to that point, of maybe someone else said they had one too, can't remember, but it's on here somewhere. Cheers Mick Just found it ... Tony Smith Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 John auctioned one a while back didn't he? It is rare, one for the completists, which narrows its scope somewhat.
Pete S Posted December 1, 2014 Author Posted December 1, 2014 Cheers, that old thread was very entertaining LOL
Robbk Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 That was pretty rare. I had only seen a couple incirculation. I do remember Ron Murphy selling several copies of that one after he bought out all the Golden World/Ric Tic/Wingate stock from a warehouse. in 1971.
Stillsoulin Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 i have one of these pete, certainly a tough one to pick up, bought it originally at the mecca for about £3, sold that a few years later thinking i will find another, fast forward 25 years finally secured it again, didnt have to pay much then either, but not many looking for it then, no idea what it would go for now.
