Jim G Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 John has just listed MINT copies of classics from the mysterious collection he has been drip feeding for some time now, see linky below. I would love to know the story of who had them, how did get listed on JM auction. Come on fellas share the information, please! https://www.raresoulman.co.uk/index.php/auction/latest
solidhit Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 A few of these look like they were from the Dobard load. Cautions, Servicemen, Troy Dodds, Kenny Sheppard, Int'l GTOs, Bobby Reed were all things that surfaced back when Ray Dobard's warehouse was auctioned off several years ago in California. I'm surprised any of these records are left. Would have thought they'd all disappeared into collections by now. 1

paultp Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Not sure I'd want unplayed records, would be too worried about scratching them to play them. Give me cheap crackly, x on label classics every time! 1

Pete S Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Which three Pete, the last three? I'm not saying anything, the last time I mentioned the titles of records which I thought were in quantity I was threatened with court action by the dealer(s) in question.

Unbelievable! Who was right? Deon Jackson singing Love Makes the World Go Round or Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey singing Money Makes the World Go Round? Both probably!
