What about - Evil - by Posse on Janus.

I see this going cheap a lot on eBay & always think it was probably worth a lot more then than it is now.

Think it may have even been a Russ Spin?

But I wouldn't bet on it, don't think its was Richards.

Was big for a while, bit weird too.

The Night watch - From the Lips to your Heart. (CU as The Ellingtons - Long long way)

The Pallbearers - Music with Soul.

Yeah, forgot about both of those.

Massively fast.

What about Ral Donner, Don't Let It Slip Away.

I actually hated that, even though I think I had a copy, white vinyl if I remenber properly, sounded more like Elvis than soul.

I remember it as a Russ spin, like you say a bit weird, but a big tune

Peggy March, If You Loved Me.

Stemons Express Woman Love Thief.

All big, I don't hear any played out much.

Peggy March had a brief comeback a few years ago. Not heard Stemons Express since the Jurassic period though (great track).

Don't get out any more , so I have little knowledge of what gets played out at northern venues these days. Here is two that gary rushbrook played Chryslers 'not gonna loose you'  and the creations 'just remember me' probably one of the most soulfull midtempo's  I had the pleasure of hearing there.

Remember being local at the market (Derek's stall) when Florence Devore had just been booted, and an older northern fan said to us, we'll that's the last of the biggies, what next?

Yes indeed

'A lot of love'  on Columbia. Taj Mahals slightly more up beat version of the Homer Banks classic
