Derek Pearson Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Blimey I thought there was only me in the whole wide world that likes this record - it never seems to get talked about anywhere. It's not that expensive as Detroit 45's go but when did you last ever see one up for grabs? Either in sales boxes or on lists? I've got eagle eyes and I ain't seen one hidden in the small print on page 7 anywhere. Me thinks the complete lack of demand for it has stiffed it's price somewhat. Remember playing it at Craig Butler's house in Brighouse one night many years ago - whilst praising the record and making scribbled notes he glanced towards the deck. On realising what the record was and without missing a beat he casually mentions "You know these are The Falcons under another name?" Pearson shot down in flames once again. I feigned illness and left soon after - then spent several hours (days) re-reading old lists and fanzines from cover to cover. None of this unfortunately helps you obtain the record - sorry. Derek

Guest Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) And the flip is none too shabby if you like ''funky soul'' Someone else listed it as a want 3 days ago too.....might want to check if they got more than one offer Edited December 1, 2014 by Regalian
Jim Elliott Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Fantastic record. Very rarely spoken about tho as DP says. Got mine from Sean Chapman at Cleggers a good few years ago, would never part with it. Get it now before it goes big! Firestones were formerly the Falcons Jim
