Greety Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 This is a record I've always wanted. However, wasn't there a thread on here recently asking if some copies had surfaced. Also I'm sure a pal of mine who has had it years has a yellow copy.Any ideas?
Hammie Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 This is a record I've always wanted. However, wasn't there a thread on here recently asking if some copies had surfaced. Also I'm sure a pal of mine who has had it years has a yellow copy. Any ideas? Mines a red copy Dave, had it a few years now, all the common copies of 'If'n' without this on the other side are red as well as far as I I know. Have seen a couple of 'Sweet Temptations' go thro' ebay in the last few months mate but only a couple. Never seen a yellow one tho' Also love Martha Starr on Charay but people always compare it to Ward Burton, I don't know why ? There both in a different groove man northern dancer versus sing along floater (watch out for the different views on SS)
Guest NEV Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 (edited) Thought we were asked not to post comments on sales? Edited November 11, 2014 by NEV
Modernsoulsucks Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Yes this should really be in LAYB ! You are familiar with that "glass houses" adage, Nev ? ROD [Forum Moderator]
Greety Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Sorry Rod. I don't normally comment on sales, preferring to keep my nose out but having an interest in this record I wanted some background. Did'nt realise it should have been in LAYB. To be fair to the seller, he's just pm'd me with the background to his acquiring this record and it sounds kosher. Thanks to you too Hammy.
