Ever seen one of these?

It belongs to 'Leeds Central' DJ Keith Atkinson. I was telling him that the 'Route' copy had just gone for £75 and the 'Buttercup' for £120. I asked him what he had it on, he said "neither" and pulled this out   
Anyone care to put a price on it??

I would imagine the same year as it was released in 1975

Unless it's a home made acetate as Pete says it might be a bogus copy. I had a few acetates in the 70ts weeks old or even a year old.

Why would a UK recording studio make an acetate of a record that

was simply being released, as opposed to recorded, in the UK ?.

I'm no expert in the recording process but I don't see the point,surely

its more likely that someone wanted the record prior to its Route issue and

so had an acetate made personally.

It's like an early test press mate, I've had tons of acetates of things that came out on UK Polydor, Pye etc.

Acetates were often cut and used as promo items sent to radio djs, etc - typically before the disc was pressed.

I understand what some of you are saying, but keith was given this from the Rep in Jumbo record Leeds, so def' not a home made Emidisc.
