Absolutely!  I'm sure that Soma didn't have any Black artists.  The song's style is only marginally "Soul" in any case.

worth about £50 on a good day, incidently...2 presses of this, most common on styrene, ..... vinyl.... quite hard to find

You're probably right, I have a few on Soma and they tend to lean towards 'Garage'. They had a sizeable hit with The Castaways 'Liar Liar'.
