How I would have loved to see him perform live. So sad that he (like so many others) aren't around anymore. >Major Lance - Since I lost my baby's love<

Simsy Posted August 4, 2006 Author Posted August 4, 2006 (edited) The Temptations recording 'My girl'. Check Ruffin's eyes, those glasses were'nt for show! Kendrick's seemingly eternal boyish grin (even whilst recording). Smokey the conductor, I believe him! And what's that banjo at the end!? Edited August 5, 2006 by Simsy

jonbuck Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 (edited) This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner Don Cornelius Productions Inc. because its content was used without permission That's a shame cause This Major Lance Clip was Very Good, Now knowbody can see him....I remember Chris Burton had him booked to a few dates late 80's & he never arrived, I don't know the full truth behind this but apparentley he couldn't get an Exit Visa from the States due to Drug Convictions, but I think the real reason Don Cornelius has withdrawn his permission is because in the clip Major Lance forgot the name of the close friend of his that made that beautifull suit.... Simsy Posted October 2, 2006 Author Posted October 2, 2006 On the record - agreed this kind of thing maybe good for new blood etc. Off the record. For me there's something ever so slightly unsettling about them. Maybe it's the voiceover, Dayo?
