John Benson Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Wasn't the Donnie Elbert 45 also on UK RCA? I feel sure I have a copy of it somewhere but don't know where it fits in release wise with the other two Top fives, tens or anything else are very hard to come up with, always changing - but here's a few that's getting repeat plays for me at the moment: General Crook - Thanks but no thanks - Wand Main Ingredient - Brotherly love - RCA Roscoe Robinson - Don't pretend - Fame Bettye Swann - You gave me love - Money Heaven & Earth - Promises - GEC

Jordirip Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Roscoe Robinson - Don't pretend - Fame Nice one John. Great crossover mover, even though he does lose the plot in the middle for a few bars. Jordi

It suprises me actually, i would have thought a lot of these British releases are rarer than a lot of the American releases, yet they go for next to nothing, perhaps start a new thread see why.
